Mormoni. Chiesa di Gesù Cristo dei Santi degli Ultimi Giorni,
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (lds),

Books by James Adair [James Adair, A History of the American Indians, 1775], Elias Boudinot, Ethan Smith, and others [come Josiah Priest, The Wonders of Nature and Providence, 1824], are fairly representative of the early nineteenth-century literature which supported such an idea" Matthew Roper, Review of Books on the Book of Mormon, vol.4, 1992, 81-84  citato in )

 Institute for Religious Research

"The Institute for Religious Research is a non-denominational, Christian non-profit foundation devoted to the study of religious claims in light of history, science, and the Bible. We desire to promote — in a thoughtful and gracious manner — the exclusive claims of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, as revealed in the Bible (Doctrinal Statement). We believe faith in Jesus Christ requires us to go beyond reason but not against it".

"The purpose of the pages you will find at this site is not to persuade you to give up your faith. It is not to intentionally bash any religion or set of ideas. The purpose is merely to share correct information with those who honestly want to examine facts pertaining to Mormonism, Christianity, & religion in general who are not afraid to intelligently question or look at their beliefs. If you are happy with your religion, please surf elsewhere. Before you go, though, take a quick look at the thoughts on this page. This is not an "anti-Mormon" site. (How many "anti-Mormon" sites do you know of that quote positive excerpts from Gordon B. Hinckley, house the entire text of "Jerald and Sandra Tanner's Distorted View of Mormonism", host responses to Fawn Brodie's biography on Joseph Smith, link to the History of the Church, have dozens of links to FARMS articles, etc.?) It is intended to be a site of honest intellectual inquiry (rather than one based on faith) and nothing more"

"First off, as is necessary, I have to claim all information as my own. After all, each article which has my name on it is the one I just happened to research and write......no, honest! This is not an official website of the LDS Church. I know, I know, it drives the anti's nuts, but they just have to learn to live with it. I am not the church, anymore than any of the authors I use on my site. The anti-Mormons will just have to go to the Church's official website to get the skinny of the official church views. This page is the reflection of my own personal views along with other LDS scholars listed here, who also hold their own views. We do not speak for the LDS (Mormon) Church leaders in either doctrine or history or interpretation of the scriptures in any way. In other words when the talking has been done around here, the revelations in the Church or from the Brethren are not over yet - GRIN!"
