In the first half of the term, beginning of Friday 26th Feb (11-13), I shall conclude the subtitling practice we began in the first term. Here is the link with these lessons:
Anyone coming to this course for the first time should follow the link to the
folder containing the documents you will need for subtitling; begin by looking at 'Subtitling, Getting Started'.
From the end of March (Friday 26, 11-13) for six weeks running (09/16/23/30 April; 07 May) dott.ssa Kantz will be taking over the course to teach film studies. She writes: "We will be using a ready-made corpus of Public Information Films (National Archives), as well as other short Pifs or PSAs (Public Service Announcements), to carry out text analysis, summary practice and subtitling exercises."
