Curriculum

Erica Biagetti is postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Pavia, where she teaches Digital Humanities (Master of Arts in Theoretical, Applied and Modern Languages Linguistics; Master of Arts ‘The Ancient Mediterranean World: History, Archaeology and Art’). In the academic year 2021-2022, she was contract professor at the University of Padua, where she taught Computational Linguistics (Master of Arts in Linguistics) and Laboratory of Analysis and Management of Linguistic Data (Master of Arts in Linguistics). She earned her PhD in 2021 from the University of Pavia and the University of Bergamo with a thesis on comparative constructions in Vedic (Title: “R?gvedic similes: a corpus-based analysis of their forms and functions”).

Temi di ricerca

Her main research interests are in the fields of Indo-European linguistics (with a focus on Vedic Sanskrit), corpus and computational linguistics, language resource construction, and cognitive linguistics.
