  • Four campaigns (1987-1990) at the Medieval excavation of Ripafratta (Lucca, Italy),  directed by Prof. F. Redi (University of Pisa).
  • Four campaigns (1995-1998) at the excavation of Tell Shioukh Fawqani (Syria), directed by Prof. F.M. Fales (University of Udine) and by Dr. L. Bachelot (CNRS, Paris).
  • One campaign (1998) at the Early-historical excavation Poviglio (Reggio Emilia, Italy), directed by Prof. M. Cremaschi (University of Milano) and by Dr. Bernabó-Brea (sovrintendenza della Regione Emilia-Romagna).
  • Two campaigns (1999 and 2000) at the excavation of Tell Misherfa / Qatna  (Syria) under the direction of Dr. D. Morandi Bonacossi (University of Udine).
  • One campaign (2004) at the excavation of Tell Ašara / Terqa (Syria), directed by Prof. C. Mora (University of Pavia) and Prof. O. Rouault (Univ. of Lyon).
